EDM Engineer
As an EDM Engineer, you will set up and operate Spark Erosion and Wire Erosion machines to deliver high‑precision machining operations. You will play a key role in ensuring components are produced to exacting standards while supporting wider production needs.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate EDM machinery, including Spark and Wire Erosion equipment.

Load raw materials and unload finished components safely and efficiently.

Adjust machine settings to meet required tolerances and production specifications.

Interpret technical drawings and work to customer‑defined tolerances.

Follow all procedures, safety guidelines, operating standards, and process documentation.

Maintain accurate logs of production activity, equipment issues, adjustments, and repairs.

Conduct machine inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns.

Ensure machines are stocked with tooling and materials to minimise downtime.

Maintain a strong safety focus, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Provide flexibility and support during peak production periods.

Qualifications & Experience

Time‑served EDM Engineer or equivalent experience.

Hands‑on experience with Spark Erosion and Wire Erosion processes.

Experience producing precision components to high quality standards.

Knowledge of manufacturing regulations, safety procedures, and best practices.

Full‑time, permanent role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a three‑shift rotation (early, back, and night).
